I went looking for to see if the Dead show from last night was here and found this instead

http://www.archive.org/details/rads2009-02-14

I guess I am a total idiot as I never even thought to see if the Radiators were 'archived'

Fun stuff and real nice AUD

I did exactly the same thing with North Mississippi All Stars (165 shows on archive!). I've had their 1st album for many years and it never occurred to me to look. Until today, when I searched for the Dead's 2009-04-14. If you've never heard them, take a few minutes- it's some real rockin blues.

The terrible part is that Lancaster is driving distance for me. Yes I missed it.

Sorry, I can't let this thread go without 1 final post, even though its about The Radiators. Check out this NMA link, especially track 18- Hear my train a comin w/ Machine Gun tease- and 23 Lovelight. I have to go out and buy some blank cd's now.

Funny I just looked up their tour dates the other day. No west coast gigs in the future. I used to love these guys. Unfortunately age and family commitments got in my way. last time I saw them I didn't know any of the songs and looking at the setlist posted I still don't except the covers. Man they had some good tunes and good shows though.

Might be the best pure "bar band" I ever saw.

Beers and Rads always meant a fun time!

Hey jglynn...

I used to see these guys all the time in N'awlins...here's another great show: Check out the UFO's Exactly sandwich and the "Let it Bleed" and the "Hardcore>Pump it Up>Let's Dance, Shout" medely.

Like the Dead when these guys are ON, they are hard to beat:
